Internet of Things Service PlatformSmart object virtualisation and service orchestration.

A platform for smart object virtualisation and service orchestration, using an event-driven architecture and asynchronous I/O, with a focus on scalability and fault tolerance.

From things to composite services

The platform supports Internet of Things applications, focusing on the design, development and experimentation of a system for orchestrating services associated with things.

M3S developed a Service Orchestration platform for executing composite services, or mashups, combining atomic services available on the Internet, typically through Web APIs.

Event-driven architecture

The design targets scalability and fault tolerance through an event-driven architecture and asynchronous I/O. Originally developed within the European telecom operator services project “Open platform for user-centric service creation and execution”, the orchestration platform was adapted to smart object virtualisation in the IoT.
