From ports to global logistics

M3S established a research activity on Blockchain applications in port operations and, more broadly, global logistics. This work is linked to its participation in Logistics DataSpace and its connection with Genoa’s Port Community System.

The work includes the involvement of the Port of Genoa, through Massimo Maresca, in the World Economic Forum Task Force on Blockchain for Supply Chain. A preliminary research result appears in the World Economic Forum paper “Inclusive Deployment of Blockchain for Supply Chains: Part 1 – Introduction”, to which Professor Maresca contributed.
